Daughter of Frántisek Kropáček (Frank) of Vilémov, Bohemia and
Barbária Doskočil (Doskočilová) of Adamov, Moravia.
Mary worked at her father's saloon as a waitress, and played piano on the weekends. When her sister, Millie, got married & became pregnant with her first child, Mary took over the cooking duties, until she, too, got married & became pregnant.
She carried on the tradition of cooking authentic Czech food with her family at their weekly family Sunday dinners. Making Hoska for Christmas & Bobavka for Easter were annual events for her for many years. Her grandchildren now carry on the heritage.
Grandmother of Richard Walter Verba (memorial #139077094)
