Allene “Tiny” Linkous, age 76 of the Adria community in North Tazewell, VA died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital. Born August 30, 1939 in Buchanan County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Dempsey and Frances Wright Ramey. She was a member of the Adria Advent Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister in law, Charles and Edith Ramey.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Randall Linkous; son, Scott Linkous and wife, Kerina of Vinton, VA; granddaughter, Morgan Brown and husband, Wes of Roanoke, VA; brothers, Anthony Ramey and friend, Donna of Grundy, VA and Eugene Ramey of Morristown, TN; sisters, Lucille Whitt and husband, Fred and Roma Lee Clevinger and husband, Kermit all of Grundy, VA.
The family will receive friends at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA from 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Grandview Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Bluefield, VA with the Reverend Mark Sexton and Nathan Thomas officiating.
