Renovo. Daniel P. Desmond, 81, died at his home Friday afternoon after a weeks illness. Funeral services were conducted this morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Hyner.
He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for 49 years until he was retired.
He leaves his wife, three sons and two daughters: Joseph A., Hornell, N.Y.; Mrs. H. R. Filbin, Renovo; Dr. Harold A., Allentown; Edwin, at home, and Mrs. Joseph Fitzmaurice, Philadelphia; one brother and three sisters, John of Wellsville, N.Y.; Sister M. Anthony of Shamokin, Mrs. M. Dorenkamper residing in California, and Mrs. Catherine Desmond, Bradford.
