Hannah Zeigler/Sigler was the first wife of Henry Blessing. They were married in Washington County, Maryland, on 19 April, 1818. Her age was documented as 50 or 56 in the 1850 census born ca. 1794 - 1800. Hannah died 25 Feb 1854, in Maryland, as indicated by the pension filing affidavit of Henry's 2nd wife - Ann Maria Wechnight.

Original source of cemetery transcription by Samuel Webster Piper in mid 1930's. These note books were transcribed by the Conococheague, N.S.A.A. Chapter 1942; Washington Cemetery Records Volume 2, page 84. Copy available at Washington County Library, Hagerstown, MD. The tomb stones no longer exist. The Fraternal Order of the Red Mens Hall was built over the cemetery. The cemetery's first internments were in 1828.
