Mr. Walter “Daddy 0” Faulks, Jr of 112 Poinsett Street, Union, widower of Johnnie Ruth Austin Faulks, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Heartland of Union.
Mr. Faulks was born in Spartanburg County, September 30, 1940, a son of the late Dewey Walter Faulks, Sr and Mary Bell Faulks. He retired from Milliken & Co. Monarch Plant and Cedar Hill Plant. Mr. Faulks was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are a daughter, Marie English and husband Joey; two sons: David Faulks and wife Lisa and Joey Faulks and girlfriend Gail Moore all of Union; two sisters: Juanita Johnson and Sarah Greene both of Union; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a special friend, Beverly Jennings. Mr. Faulks was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy and James Faulks.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Aulbrey Calvert.
Visitation will be held at the cemetery immediately following the service
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice of Greenville, 421 S. East Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
The family will be at his home, 112 Poinsett St., Union.
