Jannetje died on Feb 27, 1920 in South Holland, Cook County, Illinois. She is buried in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in an unmarked grave. She is in the same plot with her husband and her daughter Nellie who married Gerard Fieldhouse.
