Wife of Reuben Lovens of Russell County, Virginia.

Sheba met and married Reuben on her trip with the John A. Hill family from North Carolina to Virginia/West Virginia before 1870

They married May 26, 1870 in Smyth County, Va.

Reuben and Sheba stayed in Virginia until 1880 when they came to live on the mountain of Bramwell Hill with Hardin and Jane.

The family story is that Sheba died of a broken heart on Christmas eve after losing all 5 children between 1871-1882. Two of them died in Smyth County, Va. and the last three died on the mountain in W.V.
