Born in Gloversville, New York on June 23, 1942, she is the daughter of the late William and Ethel Bosch. She was raised in Gloversville and a graduate of Gloversville High School.
Sandy was a waitress at NY Lunch for over 25 years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers in the spring and summer and trips to Turning Stone Casino. Most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandson Alex Gottbehut, who she helped raise and adored.
Survivors include husband, Ronald Akey, son Donlad Wilson, Jr.( Veronica) of Greenville, SC, daughters, Shelley McGurk(Bill) of Tampa , FL, Lisa Hallam and Christine Gottbehut both of Johnstown, NY. She is also survived by a brother, Bill Bosch, Jr. of MD, several grandchildren, son in law, John Gottbehut and her special friends, Carol Beekman, Audrey Coleman and Rosalind Aquilla.
