Abner Boone was the 2nd youngest son of Joseph Boone JR and Elizabeth Warren. Many have Abner dying out in Missouri, due to old info that was once online and long time gone. This info had placed Abner as well as his son James going out to Texas, Missouri.
It has been now proven that his son, my 3rd great grandfather James Ellis Boone died in Rutland, Harrison, KY in January, 1875. His other son Joseph J. Boone did not end up in Missouri until sometime between 1870 and 1880.

Abner was released from county levies (taxes) due to age and infirmity. February, 1840. This is the reason there are no records of personal property appraisal, inventory and sale bill in Harrison, KY.
In my mind I just can't imagine a man and woman of Abner and Iby just up and going off out to Missouri at that age on their own. Abner bought 600 acres on Ravens Creek in Harrison, KY. 100 of it was sold to his brother Joab (Johab) on the same day he bought it. And while mentioning his younger brother, his companion since they came to KY. Johab died on October 12, 1852, Harrison, KY. (I use the Biblical spelling for Joab's name).

There is no paper trail that leads Abner To Missouri, and though there is none of his actual death in Harrison, KY, let's just say I'm going by my common sense).
