Pauline McGregor OAKLAND - Pauline McGregor, age 81, of rural Oakland, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2003 at Boxwood Healthcare Center, Newman, Ill. Funeral services will be held at Taber Funeral Home, Oakland on Tuesday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Tony Crouch and Matt McGregor. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pauline was born May 7, 1921 rural Kansas; the daughter of Walter E. and Carrie Hall Wright. She married Marion McGregor on June 29, 1940. He diedJune 11, 1999. Surviving are three sons: Myron and wife Mary of Oakland, Lowell and wife Judy of Lovington, Lyle and wife Mirra of Hume; one daughter, Kay and husband Wayne Lovell of Effingham. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one sister, Ruth and husband Robert Daughtery of Mattoon. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, six sisters and two grandchildren.
She was a member of the Antioch Seperate Baptist Church of Oakland. Memorials may be made to Antioch Seperate Baptist Church. Boxwood Healthcare Center or donor's choice.
