Mrs. Catherine Jackman, a resident of this city for more than fifty years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Shaffer, North Washington street, yesterday following an illness of complications. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and was well liked by all for her genial disposition. She was born in Plymouth, England, seventy-four years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. S. S. Stair, of Philadelphia; William Jackman, of Shamokin, and Mrs. Harry Mitchell, Mrs. Anna Nagle, Mrs. H. A. Shaffer, Mrs. W. R. Raver and Miss Mary Jackman, all of this city. The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, North Washington street, on Monday, with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
