SEELEY, Joan M. age 81 of Hamilton passed away Saturday December 24, 2011. She was born March 5, 1930 in Franklin County, Indiana the daughter of the late Albert and Iva Lee (Hammonds) Baker. On October 18, 1952 in Laurel, Indiana she married Donald E. Seeley and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2011. Mrs. Seeley was a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Hamilton for many years. She was a member of Allison Avenue Baptist Church and loved to read, especially her Bible. She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Wayne) Ballinger; her granddaughter Lindsay (Sean) Johnson; her twin sister Jean Chaney, her sister, Flora Gabbard and her brother Hershel Baker. Mrs. Seeley is also survived by her brother- in-law Ralph Seeley, sisters- in-law Ruby Hancock and Helen Mullen, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Thurman, Robert, and William Baker and four sisters, Lula Burris, Frances Greer, Laura Hutson, and Virginia Rowe. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Thursday December 29, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Chaplain Ed Bastien, officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
