Flora B. Gabbard went to be with Jesus Sunday, March 29, 2020. Flora was born on July 7, 1926 to Albert & Aaron and Iva Lee (Hammons) Baker in Franklin County, IN.
She was united in marriage to Robert Wilson Gabbard on May 9, 1942 in Greensburg, IN. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Thurman Baker, Robert Baker, Lula Burris, William Baker, Francis Greer, Virginia Rowe, Laura Hutson, Jean Chaney and Joan Seeley.
She is survived by her son, Roger Aaron (Emma) Gabbard of Franklin County and her brother, Herchel Baker of Montpelier, IN.
A graveside service will be conducted at Stipps Hill Cemetery on Friday, April 3 at 1:00 P.M.
The family would like to thank the staff at DCMH and Heritage House Nursing Home for their tender care of their mother in the last days of her life. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksburg Holiness Church, P.O. Box 1, Clarksburg, IN 47225.
