RAYMOND J. PURCELL
It was with sincere regret that residents of Quincy and Randolph learned of the death of Raymond Joseph Purcell, beloved husband of Mrs. Serena Livrago Purcell of 32 Endicott Street, South Quincy, following a short illness with influenza at the Quincy Hospital.
Mr. Purcell suffred a relapse early yesterday morning, following a few days illness and realizing his serious condition, members of his family ordered him removed to the hospital where he remained in a coma for 36 hours until his death at 10 o'clock last evening. Because of his youth every hope was held for his recovery. Surviving him besides his widow, who previous to her marriage was Miss Serena Livrago of Filbert Street, West Quincy, is his mother, Mrs. Mary Purcell of Randolph, a son Gerald, age 5 months, and two sisters Barbara and Mary of Randolph.
