Mary P. (Purcell) Cowgill, of Weston, formerly of Randolph, passed away February 3 surrounded by her loving family. She was 100 years old. Mary was born, raised and educated in Randolph. She graduated from and was the oldest living graduate of the Stetson School in Randolph. Mary was a resident of Randolph for 70 years, Marshfield, and most recently Weston for the past 14 years. Beloved wife of the late James F. Cowgill. Loving mother of Donald Cowgill of CA, Richard Cowgill and his wife Tina of Weston, Barbara Flanagan and her husband Gerald of Kingston, and Janet Kelleher of Duxbury. Devoted sister of the late Raymond Purcell and Barbara (Purcell) Good. Also survived by her nephew Gerald Good of Randolph, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rte. 28) Randolph, Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Marys Church Randolph at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. Interment St. Marys Cemetery Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marys memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
