Charles E. Atwell Dies at Plymouth
Charles E. Atwell, 54, well known and esteemed resident of Plymouth, died at 3:10 yesterday afternoon at his home, 299 Beade Street, that borough, after a short illness. He was employed at the Lance Colliery and worked on Friday.
Mr. Atwell was active in the Salvation Army of Plymouth and served for many years as a Bible teacher. He was a lifelong resident of Plymouth.
Surviving are his wife, Gertrude, and these children, Capt. Richard Atwell, stationed with the Salvation Army at Lewistown, Pa.; and Edward, Hannah, Gertrude and Flossie, all at home, and two sisters, Mrs. John Guise and Mrs. William Jenkins, both of Plymouth.
The body was removed to 112-114 West Main Street, Plymouth, from where the funeral will be held.
