Jefferson City - Bertha Black, 57, of Care Inn in Jefferson City, died Wednesday, July 31, 1985 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown. Survivors include her brother, Luther Black of LaFollette; uncle, Rufus Black of Bean Station; and aunt Eddie Smeltzer of Morristown. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Mayes Mortuary with Dr. Clyde Martin officiating. Burial will be in Jarnagin Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home.
