He died Thursday at his home. He was a native of Washington County and a retired cabinetmaker. Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth E. Mull; two daughters, Virginia Burns and Beulah Boling; six sons, Wayne Hurst of Pekin, Glenn Hurst of Sellersburg, and Tommy, Eldon, Randy and David Hurst; two brothers, Abe and Bruce Hurst, both of Pekin; 25 grandchildren,; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
