OBITUARY OF HENRY F. RIEMANN
The following clipping was taken from a Kansas newspaper:
"Henry F. Riemann was born April 16, 1869, at Teutopolis, 111., and departed this life September 23, 1939, at the Norton Hospital.
He was united in marriage to Miss Helena Pals in 1891. To this union was born two sons: George and Harry. The latter died in 1905. Mrs, Riemann died October 9, 1894.
November 12, 1895, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Vahling and to this union five sons and one daughter were born.
In 1905 they came to Kansas and located on a farm two miles east and one mile north of Densmore, where they have resided since.
Mr Riemann was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Knights of America.
He is survived by his wife; six sons: George, Frank and Lawrence of Logan; Joe of Edmond and Alf and Louis of Densmore; one daughter. Mrs Bernard Juergensmeier of Fairview, Kan.; 22 grandchildren; three sisters, Sister M. Viola and Sister M. J. de Cruce of Mankato, Minn.; and Sister M. Prudence of Comfrey, Minn;, besides a host of other relatives and friends who are mourning his death.
Rosary devotion was conducted Sunday evening by the Knights of Columbus members while the Catholic Knights of America had charge Monday morning.
Funeral services were held in St. John's Church, Logan, conducted by Rev. Thos. Keogan. He was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery at Densmore. Pallbearers were: John Kitrke, Ed Koester, Joe Marx, Leland Archer, Dan OConnor and J. Y. Banguess."added by Ronald Repking
