He was a Painting Contractor, a General Motors retiree and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Moose Lodge and of the Protestant faith.
Mr. Snelling is survived by his wife of 51 years, Corrine Snelling, Sebring; daughter, Terri (and Gary) Brewer, Middletown, Ohio; sons, Ron (and Tracy) Snelling, Middletown, Ohio and Jeff (and Jean) Snelling, Trenton, Ohio; sisters, Betty Dearth, Middletown, Ohio; Kathy (and John) James, Trenton, Ohio and Cheryl Snelling, Indian Springs, Ohio; brothers, Bill Snelling, Middletown, Ohio; John (and Linda) Snelling, Trenton, Ohio; Larry (and Kathy) Snelling, Middletown, Ohio; Gene (and Reed) Snelling, Middletown, Ohio; Mike (and Shirley) Snelling, Franklin, Ohio and Jack Snelling, Trenton, Ohio; loyal Friend and brother-in-Law, Bud Williams; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister and was loved by numerous family members and friends in Ohio and Florida. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, 509 State Street, Trenton, Ohio.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and after the Memorial Service from 1 2:00 until 1:00 p.m. Private burial will be at Miltonville Cemetery at a later time. A special thank you to Gracie Miller, our Dad's Hospice Nurse. Dad was so grateful to you. Also, Jessica, Anna, Cynthia and Cecil from Good Shepherd Hospice.
