Betty Shields LeBlanc passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Anita Gaston Shields.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Orville LeBlanc; daughters, Brenda Carter, and Cheryl Carter and her husband, Keith; and son, Brian LeBlanc and his wife, Dianne; grandchildren: Jesse Carter, Christina LeBlanc, Kendall LeBlanc, and Johsua LeBlanc; her brothers: Kenneth Shields and his wife, Clydean, and Tommy Shields and his wife, Sandy.
Betty graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in 1959 and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Betty and her husband have owned and operated LeBlanc's Pecan Company for 35 years in Richmond.
She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved being around her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone.
Pallbearers are her nephews, Dudley LeBlanc Jr., Casey Shields, Jimmy Pate, Kenny Pate, Jay LeBlanc, and Barry LeBlanc.
The family requests memorials be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 400 South Jackson St., Richmond, Texas, 77469.
Services are under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, Inc., 1201 Fourth St. in Rosenberg, 281-342-4671.
