Brown thoroughbred racehorse and successful stallion, Saint Ballado was bred by E. P. Taylor's Windfields Farm in Ontario, Canada. On the racetrack his wins under trainer/part owner Clint Goodrich included the 1992 Arlington Classic and the Sheridan Stakes.

At stud Saint Ballado was the Leading Sire in North America in 2005 when his son Saint Liam was voted the United States Horse of the Year and his daughter Ashado was voted the United States Champion Older Female horse. A year earlier, Ashado had been chosen the United States Champion Three-Year-Old Filly.
