Joanne S. Rapp, 80, of Bethlehem Township, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Country Meadows. Born: January 16, 1933 in Nazareth, PA, she was a daughter of the late Arling and Irene Beers Stout. Personal: She and her husband, David S. Rapp, celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on September 6, 2012.

Years ago, she was employed by Second National Bank, Nazareth. Joanne graduated from Nazareth High School Class of 1950. She was a poll worker for the Republican Party in the Fourth Ward, Bethlehem Township. Memberships: Joanne was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Farmersville, where she sang in the choir, served on the altar guild and was a quilter. She was also a member of Safety First Volunteer Fire Co., Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by three sons, David A. "Chip", of Bethlehem Township, Steven M. Sr., of Freemansburg and Andrew C., of Italy; two brothers, Arling Stout, Jr., of Vienna, VA and Chester H. Stout, of Orlando, FL; a sister, Elaine M. Stout, of Oxford, FL; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.. She was predeceased by a son, John E. Rapp, who passed away in 1998.
