LEXINGTON - Florine Eubank Anderson died Friday, May 8, 1992, in the Community Hospital of Roanoke, Va. Born January 27, 1907, in Pedlar Mills, Amherst County, she was the wife of the late Joseph B. Anderson, M.D. and the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Margaret Loving Eubank. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Pittsburg Garden Club, the Lexington Garden Club and the Stonewall Jackson Hospital Auxiliary. She attended Farmville State Teachers College and taught elementary school for one year. She was a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Nursing. Survivors include one sister, Mildred Cox, Lexington; four nephews, two nieces, six great-nephews, seven great-nieces, two great-great-nephews and two great-great-nieces. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. in the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery conducted by Dr. L. Randolph Harrison. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Lexington Life Saving and First Aid Crew.. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
