Thomas E. Bajornas age 65, of Canton, passed away Wednesday morning in the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.

Tom was born in Canton to the late Joseph and Helen (Klingler) Bajornas and was a life resident.

He was retired from the Dominion East Ohio Gas Company and a lifetime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his Harley. He was known for his sense of humor, he could make anyone laugh.

Tom was a six year lung transplant survivor. The family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic for their care.

In addition to his parents Tom was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tim Kuemerle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa; children, Thomas, John (Brandi), Stefanie Bajornas and Scott Feielin; brothers, Joseph (Barb), Richard (Mary Rose) and Mike (Becky); sisters, Mary (Dave) Cole and Cathy Kuemerle; grandchildren, Cassidy, Hannah, Amber, Sammy, Johnny and Bentley; sister-in-law, Missy McCollister. Lifelong best friends, Dr. Bob Sliman and Joe Clark. Many nieces, nephews and his two dogs also survive.

A memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Frank Carfagna as celebrant.
