DALE HILLIARD, 75, OF RURAL CISNE, DIES; RITES HELD
Dale Hiliard, 75, of rural Cisne, died at 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 25, 1987 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
According to family members, he had suffered several strokes. He also had heart problems and suffered from emphysema.
RITES CONDUCTED
Funreal Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (today) at Hosselton's Funeral Home in Cisne, with Bro. Melvin Farmer officiating. Burial followed inthe Cisne Cemetery.
Mr. Hilliard was born May 5, 1912 in Wayne County, the son of Samuel and Nettie (Cook) Hilliard. He married the former Beulah Tadlock Mar 15, 1930 in Marganfield, KY.
He grew up in the Cisne area and attended the Cook School in his younger years. He was a retired farmer with his operation located west of Cisne.
Mr. Hilliard was a member of the Tennessee General Baptist Church north of Rinard.
THE SURVIVORS
Among survivors are his wife, Beulah of Cisne; two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Barbara) Weedon of Fairfield; and Mrs. Gary (Shannon) Atteberry of Mt. Erie; two sons, Billie of Fairfield; and Arky of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Gene (Wanda) Lane of Cisne; and Mrs. Duane (Metabelle) Pond of Geff; one brother Donne Hilliard of Cisne; ten grandchildren and six greta-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
