Anthony 'Tony' Taylor, Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, left us at 8:02 a.m. on Thursday Nov. 30, 2006. Born in Anadarko, OK, on January 27, 1924 , he was the youngest son of thirteen children . The last surviving member of his brothers and sisters is Monroe Taylor, of Lawton, OK. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Taylor; five children, John R. Blakey, Anthony L. Taylor, Marc Brady and Kevin Brady, all in Oklahoma City, OK; and his daughter, Darla Taylor Hamilton, currently residing in Dallas, TX. He will also be missed by his twelve Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren, and the birth Mother of John, Anthony and Darla, Margaret L. Taylor, and his beloved chihuahua, Poochums, who was his constant companion for the last six years of his life. A man of great generosity, he gave selflessly to his family and friends. He was a Tank Commander while serving in the US Army during the Korean War. He spent a number of years in construction, assisting in the building of many landmarks in Okla. City including the Dome, Citizens' Tower and Founders' Tower. He changed careers at thirty-six years of age to go to work at Wilsons' Foods in the Stockyards of Okla. City during the 1960's, where he remained until retiring after twenty-five years of service to the Company. He was a Steward in the Union and a huge football fan. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
