Ugo Isola, 81, of Stockton, died Tuesday at a local hospital. A native of Italy, Mr. Isola had lived in Stockton since 1920. He worked as a truck driver for the Stockton Unified School District for 16 years. He was the president of the Italian Catholic Federation, Branch No. 9, and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Dena Isola of Stockton; a son, Hugo Isola of Lafayette; and three grandchildren. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Luke's Church, 3925 N. Sutter St. Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. Burial will be at the San Joaquin Mausoleum.
