Mrs. Hazel Rush Cree, 74, of Washington R.D. 4, who was born at Khedive and who lived at Jefferson before moving to Washington County 23 years ago, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 1968, in Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Cree was born May 21, 1893, a daughter of the late Joseph and Cora Rush. She was married November 28, 1911, to LeRoy Cree, who survives.
She was a member of the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church at Khedive.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four daughters: Gladys, wife of Paul Scott, of Claysville, R.D. 1; Esther, wife of Earl Berry, of Pittsburgh; Isabelle, wife of Andy Sabo, of Jefferson, and Doris, wife of James Courson, of Washington, R.D. 4 and one son, Ewing T. (Bud) Cree, of Columbia Station, Ohio; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Anson Rush, of Carmichaels, R.D. 1; and two sisters; Mrs. Isabelle Allison, of Carmichaels and Mrs. Della Neel, of Jefferson.
A daughter, Erma, is deceased.
