Austin Arley Garrett, 56, of Mont Belvieu was born December 25, 1952 in Morton, TX and passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 in a Baytown hospital. He was a member of MENSA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Imogene Garrett and daughter, Laura Jean Garrett and is survived by his wife, Judy Anderson Garrett, sons and daughter-in-law, Justin Garrett and Brenden Garrett, all of Mont Belvieu and Brian and Christine Burroughs of Hurst; brothers and sister-in-law, Victor Garrett Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK and Douglas and Susie Garrett of Lawton, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Danny Bishop of Lawton, OK; grandson, Sebastian Burroughs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Jake Porter officiating.
Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Century Memorial Park in Shreveport, LA.
