Euna Vanicor, Age 89, a native of Mowata and resident of Welsh was entrusted to God's loving care on Saturday, August 20, 2016. After 18 years of faithful service, Euna retired from the Welsh cafeteria where she was known for exceptionally delicious baked bread. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her whole family. Euna loved her family and picked up additional grandchildren over the years. She had the cleanest house in Welsh. She was truly a professional homemaker. Euna was Catholic by faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh.

The Visitation will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Rosary Recital at 6:30 p.m. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. until procession time. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church with Father Alan Trouille as Celebrant. The Committal will be in the church mausoleum.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Patrick Vanicor (Renee); daughters, Darlene Stanley & Henrietta Gratton (Kenneth). Euna is also survived by 6 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nute Vanicor; a son, Darrell Vanicor; Parents, Adolph LeJeune and Euphemie Thibodeaux LeJeune, and 8 siblings.
