She was born May 25, 1940 in McDermott, a daughter of the late Lafe and Maude Pearl Wilson Free Sr.
Rosemary was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Phipps of Columbus, Patricia (Kernie) Howard of Galloway, and Barbara Stewart of Columbus; one son, Dennis (Eileen) Phipps of Columbus; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Free of Lucasville, Lafe Free Jr. of Lucasville and Roger Free of Kentucky and one sister, Martha Sue Jackson of Marysville, Ohio.
Rosemary was also preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Robert, and Charles Free and one sister, Louise Odell.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Joe Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Big Run Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and an hour before the service Monday at the funeral home.
