Ray Areford died at his home in Carmichaels, April 27, aged 20 years of Bright's disease. Mr. Areford was a son of Mr & Mrs G W Areford of Carmichaels and was highly respected. He was a member of the M E church. John Areford, a brother, died at Camp Lee, WVa, about two months ago, while in training in the US service. Beside his parents he is survived by his wife and one daughter, Louise, and one brother, Fred Areford of Carmichaels and a sister, Mrs. Frank Ross of Carmichaels. The funeral was held on April 29, conducted by Rev Edwin Bevier. Interment in Rices Landing cemetery.
