Frederick Areford, a well known and highly respected citizen, died at his home in Carmichaels, Tuesday, June 29, aged 28 years, of Bright's disease. Mr. Areford was a son of George and Mary Margaret Craft Areford. He was a member of the Carmichaels Presbyterian church, IOOF and POS of A. Mr Areford conducted a barber shop and also engaged in the restaurant business. Mr & Mrs. Areford have lost three sons by death in less than two years and they have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement. Beside the parents, one sister, Mrs. Frank Ross of Carmichaels survive. The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon a 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev J C French. Interment in Hewitt cemetery.
