Burtchville, Feb. 24, Emma Nut, aged about 25 years.
The deceased was the daughter of Hugh McIntyre of the township of Grant. In early youth she gave her undivided heart to her Savior, and has ever since lived a devoted Christian life.
After sixteen weeks severe illness, she departed this life, and we trust is now reaping a Christian's reward.
The funeral took place at the Zion M. E. Church in Grant on the 26th, services conducted by Rev. Gage of Ruby. About two hundred people were in attendance.
The deceased leaves a husband and three little girls, besides a large circle of friends who will sadly feel their loss.
