A beloved wife, mother, nana & friend was called to serve a new mission for the Savior in the early morning of Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006. She passed quickly while in the arms of her eternal sweetheart following complication from a recent surgery. Jan was an only child. She graduated from East High School (1952) and went on to BYU where she was a member of the University Marching Band. In 1968 she met the true love of her life, Leon Mark Bartholomew. They were married April 5, 1968 and they were seal in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec 27, 1979. She exemplified the very meaning of serving others, following Christ and a faithful member of the LDS Church. There are many things we'll miss about her but the knowledge of the gospel, the power of the priesthood, and the atonement of Jesus Christ gives us great comfort. "Save a seat for us all at the table Mom. We will love and adore you forever!" Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Milo Glenn & Pauline Felsted Webb. She is survived by her sweetheart, Leon Mark Bartholomew; children: Cindy (Keith) Griffiths, Ron, Lori (Jorge) Garcia, Sheri (Lynn) Kesler, Mike (Margret), and Paula (Scott) Jorgensen, & 16 grandchildren. Funeral held Dec 16, 2006 at LDS Church at 1950 Harvest Moon Dr, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045. The family extends their gratitude to all the friends, neighbors and ward members who have been so supportive through this trying time.
