HERE UNTIL FIVE YEARS AGO
Mrs. W.A.B. Carpenter, for many years a resident of Fort Dodge, died at her home in Cherokee Thursday morning. Death came after an illness of several weeks resulting from a paralytic stroke. The funeral will be held in Cherokee Saturday morning. She will be buried in Corpus Christi cemetery. The cortege will go from the 10:25 a.m. Illinois Central train on which the body will arrive Saturday morning .
Members of the Degree of Honor will meet at the railroad station and then go to the cemetery.
Mrs. Carpenter leaves a husband and five sons. They are James, Harold, Robert, Faber and Donald. Until five years ago Mrs. Carpenter lived in Fort Dodge. She came here with her parents when she was but a small child. She was before her marriage Esther Lynch and was a sister of the late Mrs. James Keefe. She has many relatives in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Carpenter was forty six years old at the time of her death.
