Born September 4, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Lillie Belle (Revels) Crocker of Cowpens and the late George Fowler.
She was first married to the late William C. Garrett and then to the late William L. "Bill" Neely.
Retired from Mayfair Mill, she was a member of Rainbow Lake Community Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons, Donald E. Garrett of Spartanburg, and Randy C. Garrett and his wife Rose, who was her special caregiver, of Roebuck; two brothers, Johnny Fowler and Jerry Crocker, both of Cowpens; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Roger Garrett and Terry Garrett; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Carroll Fowler; her step-father, Olin Crocker; and her step-mother, Margaret Fowler.
Visitation was 7:00-9:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by Pastor Bo Dunford and Pastor Brian Tillotson. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
