Services for Edgar Earl Booth, 82, died Friday in Methodist Hospital. He had been employed by Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motor Corporation. 25 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1968. He was a member of Capitol City Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Roberts Park United Methodist Church, Murat Shrine and its cast. He received the meritorious service award from Scottish Rite this year. Born in Warren County, he had lived in Indianapolis since 1927. Survivors: wife, June Arlene Dean Booth; daughters, Patricia Monroe and Jeanene Nehren; stepson Richard Burton; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren.
