He is predeceased by his loving son ,Peter Paul Apollo, who passed away in NYC during 9/11, his twin brother, Paul Apollo, his brother, Anthony Tarrona, and his four sisters; Madeline Spincola, Teresa May, Mary Lopian and Nancy Milne. Surviving is his beloved wife of 53 years, Cecile (Fitzpatrick) Apollo, his two loving daughters; Denise and her husband Chris Mauthe and Lisa Page and and her fiancée Michael Consiglio, his sister, Josephine Radigan, his six cherished grandchildren; Emily and Elizabeth Page and Peter, CJ, Jack, and Avery Mauthe, his nephew, Bruce and and his wife Marie Radigan and their son Joseph and his wife Barbara. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends
The family would like to thank the nurses and support staff at Kindred at Home Hospice Care, especially Dr. Wayne Braendle, his Rolling Meadows friends for their love and support, and the Riverview Medical Center Nurses and Doctors who cared for Peter during his illness.
A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jerome's RC Church, Wall Street in West Long Branch, NJ. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery, 148 Maple Avenue; Oceanport, NJ.
