She was the former Mary Ridgely, a daughter of Charles and Jane Maria Ridgely and a granddaughter of Nicholas H. Ridgely, pioneer banker of Springfield. She was survived by daughters Mrs. Joseph S. Barker and Mrs. Lloyd Canby and sons John and Charles Vincent.
