Mary's name at death was Mary Strong, wife of Edmund S. Strong. She died at Cincinnati, Ohio, and her cremains were sent to Springfield to be buried in the Charles Ridgely family lot. She was the former Mary Ridgely, a daughter of Charles and Jane Maria Ridgely and a granddaughter of Nicholas H. Ridgely, pioneer banker of Springfield. She was survived by daughters Mrs. Joseph S. Barker and Mrs. Lloyd Canby and sons John and Charles Vincent.
