Christina was born on May 14, 1935 to Ludwig and Christina (Mitzel) Gimbel in Buhl ID. She grew up in Mound City, Herrold, Artas and Edgemont and on several ranches.
She was united in marriage to Leland Hagel in Eureka, SD on May 18, 1953. To this union two children were born. She worked as a baby-sitter, housekeeper and laundry in different motels in Arizona. She was united in marriage to Frank Woods in Reno, NV on April 21, 1981.
Christina was a member of the United Church of Christ. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible, sewing and cooking.
Christina is survived by her husband Frank of Pierre; one son Gregory Hagel and wife Karen of Lake Preston, SD; one daughter Marsha Mutschler and husband Scott of Pierre; three grandchildren, April, Keith and Christina; three great grandsons Neil, Charlie and Owen; her twin brother Ludwig and wife Arlyce of Eureka; four sisters, Susan Holzwarth of Bismarck, ND, Kathy Cordry of Black Hawk, SD, Elsie Heiser and husband Walter and June Meidinger and husband Milton of Mandan, ND and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brother, three sisters and two nieces.
