Alfredo was an example of the Italian version of the "Little Old Winemaker", he was a small man that loved spending his time making his own Italian wine.Born in Tufo, he came to America and made his family and his livelihood in Revere, Massachusetts as a barber, owning his own shop for many years.

He was married to Carmela Messina and had one child, a son, Fred Sr.

Along with his son, his legacy is five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and three great-great-great grandchildren. All of his great-grandchildren were fortunate enough to be old enough at his passing to still remember him.

He played the mandolin and loved for the children to dance and sing around him while he played. He also had a wine cellar and until he wasn't able to, homemade wine always graced his dinner table.

We had him for 95 years and it still wasn't long enough.

Since his death, his grandsons Walter and Mike, great-grandson Fred III and son Fred Sr have joined him.
