She was born in Carroll County on July 11, 1917, the daughter of the late Sanders N. Bonner and Evie Cagle Bonner. She retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company after 50 years and was a longtime member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Her husband, David Maddox, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Ernestine Maddox; grandson, Shaun Maddox; granddaughter, Stacie Gibbs; great grandson, Skyler Gibbs all of Carrollton and sister, Mattie Evatt of Newberry, South Carolina.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, October 12 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Damon Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be Skyler Gibbs, Clarence Webb, Gene Lambert, Roger Maddox, Greg Daniel and Roy Wright.
Interment will be in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
