Her husband was born 29 Jan 1850 at Altdorf, Baden-Wurttemburg, Germany and resided in San Francisco from 1866. He was naturalized in that city 01 Nov 1876 in the District Court. He and his brother Bernard, along with Nora's brother Joseph S. Silverberg, owned the import firm of Schweitzer & Co. which existed on Battery Street as of the 1886 city directory.
Maurice died 05 Jun 1921, leaving his entire estate to his wife, Leonora.
At the time of her death, Nora was a resident of the Alexander Hamilton Hotel, where she passed away.
Her children and sister Sara Miner survived her.
