Lois Shelton, of Gig Harbor, passed away on September 26, 2016. She was born March 26, 1929, in Omaha, NE, to Carl and Thelma Sacco. She moved to Tacoma in 1944 and graduated from Stadium High School in 1948. After a few years at College of Puget Sound, she worked at Fort Lewis where she met the love of her life Bill Shelton. She and Bill were married in 1962 and remained married until his death in 1981. Together they raised their 3 children in Gig Harbor. Lois was active in the Gig Harbor Christian Women's Club. Lois is survived by her three children, 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
