Dies At Age 87;
Wayne City Rites
Wayne City--Frank Weaver, 87, a farmer, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at his home in Berry township. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Bailey church, conducted by the Rev. H. G. Coventry and burial will be in Bailey cemetery. The body will remain at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City, where friends may call.
Mr. Weaver was born in Wayne County April 14. 1868, the son of David and Naomi (Spicer) Weaver. He was married to Lillie Church, who died April 10 this year.
Surviving are three sons, Owen and Herb of Johnsonville, Ill. and Harold of Abilene, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Claudine Legg and Mrs. Naoma Peddicord of Wayne City, Mrs. Corinne McKitrick of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Nell Bennett of Hawthorne, Cal; 33 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; one brother, Theodore Weaver of Cisne; and two sisters, Cynthia Tibbs and Nettie Galbreath of Glendale, Calif. One daughter, Gladys, preceded him in death.
