Eleanor Hancharik, age 92, of Versailles Borough, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 21, 2016. Eleanor was born in McKeesport on January 30, 1924 to her parents the late Alexander and Frances Brooks. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport. She was the past President of the Ladies Auxillary, American Legion Post #361 of McKeesport, a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 146 of Versailles Borough and the Amvets. Eleanor was the wife of the late Michael Hancharik who passed away on April 2, 1996.
