Samuel Abrashoff, 69, of 20673 Freedom St., Three Springs, formerly of Mount Union and Annapolis, Maryland, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at his home.

Born July 24, 1946, in Huntingdon, he was the son of the late Steve and Anna (Kosack) Abrashoff. He was united in marriage to the former Bonnie Fowler June 22, 1968, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Mrs. Abrashoff survives.

Mr. Abrashoff is survived by a son, Jimmy Abrashoff of Owings Mills, Maryland.

He is also survived by two sisters, Connie Morrison of Mount Union and Joyce Ruby and husband, Mike, of Altoona; and two sisters-inlaw, Marcie Abrashoff of Idaho and Georgianna Abrashoff of Walnut Hill, Mount Union.

Mr. Abrashoff was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from 1964 to 1968 during the Vietnam War.

He was a 1964 graduate of Captain Jack Joint High School and later of the University of Baltimore with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Mr. Abrashoff worked as a certified public accountant (CPA) with his own private practice for over 20 years.

He will be remembered by family and friends for his generosity and his sense of humor.

Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 14, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with the Rev. Adam Shawver officiating. Interment will be made in the Mount Union Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday.
