Avo Jones, age 84 died Thursday, March 2, 2000. She was a former member of the North Edgefield Baptist Church, Nashville, TN, and a current member of the First Baptist Church of White House, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Savage. She is survived by one daughter and her husband, three sons and their wives, sister, Vera Lening, Indianapolis, IN, one brother, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild.
Services will be march 4 2000 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
